Occurrence:
The common bream is a
European species. This is the most popular bream in Hungary. They
can be found near carps, and they live in groups.
They are searching at the watercourses for snails, clams and
mosquito larvaes.
Fishing:
They can be caught from early spring to late autumn, the best time
to fish for the common bream is from july to september.
If you would like to catch a common bream you'll need these two
things: sensitive rod and a well-fed fishing place. Float-fishing
and droplining is
the best way to catch them.
Description:
It has a laterally
flattened and high-backed body.The adult common breams are yellowish
while the younger ones are silvery grey.
The fins are grey or black ( it depends on the fish's age) The
dorsal fin is short and pointed while the pectoral fins are high.
