Occurrence:
The common rudd is widely spread in Europe and
middle Asia, around the basins of the North, Baltic, Black, Caspian
and Aral seas.
It prefers the rivers and the lakes. They live mostly in the reeds,
and they really like the muddy places. In Hungary they can be found
in slow -flowing rivers and in backwaters.
Fishing:
Try silently, looking cautiously approach the fishing place,
as this species is very sensitive to noise.
you preferably use tiny worms, sacrals and mosquito for bait. If you
want to catch a bigger rudd, you will have to use sweet corn or
boiled egg barley for bait.
